Professional Networking Event Campaign

PROJECT OVERVIEW

When a mortgage team expanded into a new market, an invitation-only networking event was created to introduce local real estate professionals to the team, build awareness of available mortgage products, and establish new referral relationships.

I developed and executed the marketing campaign supporting the event, creating a multi-touch invitation strategy designed to drive attendance and encourage engagement.

CHALLENGE

The goal was to introduce the mortgage team to Realtors in a new market while creating opportunities for future business partnerships and referral relationships.

Because the event was invitation-only, attendance depended entirely on targeted outreach and ongoing engagement with invited guests rather than traditional social media promotion.

STRATEGY & EXECUTION

To simplify registration and measure campaign performance, I created a free event registration page through Eventbrite and integrated it into all campaign materials.

Marketing assets included:

  • Email invitation campaign

  • Event flyer

  • Text message invitation graphic

  • Event registration landing page

  • QR code registration system

I developed the campaign copy, designed all marketing materials, and built the email campaign in Mailchimp.

Throughout the campaign, I monitored registration activity and attendee engagement using Eventbrite reporting. Weekly performance reviews allowed me to identify opportunities for audience segmentation and retargeting. Follow-up communications were tailored to invitees who had.not opened the email, recipients who opened but did not register, and registrants requiring event reminders.

This data-driven approach allowed for continual optimization leading up to the event.

RESULTS

The campaign achieved a 62% attendance rate among invited guests, generating strong participation for an invitation-only networking event.

The event successfully connected the mortgage team with local Realtors, creating opportunities to:

  • Introduce available mortgage products

  • Build professional relationships

  • Establish referral partnerships

  • Increase market awareness

Attendees engaged directly with the mortgage team, resulting in valuable conversations and new relationship-building opportunities that supported future business development efforts.
